Terms & Conditions

The terms governing purchases from Velrovia Group, including pricing, VAT, orders, delivery, risk, warranties and South African consumer law.

Last updated 1 February 2026 · Velrovia Group

These Terms & Conditions govern every order placed with Velrovia Group via velroviagroup.co.za, by email or by telephone. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accepted them. They are drafted to comply with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA).

1. About us

Velrovia Group is a business based in the Republic of South Africa. Our trading address is 51 Bester St, Mbombela Central, Mbombela, 1201. You can reach us on 073 592 7535 or sales@velroviagroup.co.za.

2. Products and descriptions

We describe every product as accurately as we can, including capacity, power draw, dimensions, materials and warranty period. Photographs are styled and lit for presentation; slight colour and finish variations are inherent in stainless steel, glass, cast iron and PVD-coated handles. Measurements may vary by ±5% due to manufacturing tolerances.

All products are intended for the use described on the product page. Commercial use outside the stated duty cycle, incorrect voltage, or use of non-approved accessories may void the warranty.

3. Pricing, VAT and errors

  • All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include 15% VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • Delivery charges are additional and displayed before you confirm your order (flat R149, free over R5 000).
  • Prices are valid at the time of order. We review pricing monthly and reserve the right to change prices before payment is received.
  • If a pricing or description error is discovered after you order, we will notify you before taking payment and offer you the correct price or a full cancellation.

4. Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. A binding agreement arises when we confirm availability and accept payment. Where an item is out of stock, we will offer you a lead time, an alternative product or a full refund.

We may decline an order where we suspect fraud, where stock is unavailable, where the delivery address is outside our service area, or where prices were clearly misstated.

5. Payment

We accept Visa and Mastercard (3-D Secure), Instant EFT via PayFast and bank transfer. Goods remain our property until payment reflects in full. We never store card details on this website; payment is processed by a PCI-DSS compliant provider.

6. Delivery, risk and ownership

We deliver throughout South Africa using insured, tracked third-party couriers. Estimated delivery times are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Ownership and risk pass to you on collection by the courier, or on collection from our showroom, whichever applies.

You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details, safe access and a person to receive bulky items. Additional delivery charges may apply where an order must be re-routed, returned or re-delivered due to incorrect information or access restrictions.

7. Returns, cooling-off and warranties

Our Return & Refund Policy and Warranty Policy form part of these terms. In summary: unused equipment may be returned within 30 days of delivery; faulty items are collected at our cost; refunds are paid within five business days of approved inspection. In terms of section 20 of the ECTA, you may cancel a distance purchase within 14 days of delivery, provided goods are unused and you bear the direct cost of returning them.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the CPA, including the right to goods of good quality, free of defects, and fit for the purpose communicated to us.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from any order is limited to the purchase price paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, spoilage, event cancellation or loss of goodwill.

Nothing in this clause limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury, or any liability that may not be limited under South African law.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, photography, video, illustrations, product copy, logos and the Velrovia Group name — is our property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, republish or use our content for commercial purposes, product listings or advertising without written permission. Product images may not be used in third-party marketplace listings without consent.

10. Privacy and cookies

We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for details on what we collect, why, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights.

11. Dispute resolution and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. We ask that you contact us first so we can resolve the matter directly; most concerns are settled within 48 hours. If we cannot resolve it, you may refer the matter to the relevant ombud or to the National Consumer Commission, or approach a court with jurisdiction. The Mpumalanga Division of the High Court, Mbombela, has jurisdiction unless the CPA provides otherwise.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your order. Questions? Email sales@velroviagroup.co.za or call 073 592 7535, Monday to Friday 08:00–17:30.
